In England, during the First World War, the so-called spy counterfeit stamps of the 5h and 10h issues of 1916/19 and 25h issues of 1917/18 were printed. They were supposed to damage Austrian finance. The image of forgery is about 1/2 mm larger and about 1/4 mm wider than the original. Another feature is the significantly smaller letters "NG" in the name of JUNG and yellowed paper.
